Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread

11:07am.........There is an adult on the distant evergreen.............could be ours but wasn't here to see it before............don't know.

11:09am......Could be 3 eagles in the eagle tree by the bay..........will have to have a better look with the E cam.

11:13am........it is incredible how many eagles are in view this morning. There are 2 perched again on top of this roof, that we saw yesterday.....likely the same pair.

Someone else farther to the right of them.

11:16am.........More eagles by the bay.

[Jean]

11:19am........Ma suddenly appeared in the tree.......she called out as Trooper brought a branch to the nest. Ma joined him in the nest.

11:21am.........Their back collars look the same right now. Trooper is on the left........Ma on the right.

[Jean]

11:24am..............Ma went to her perch and Trooper had another go at that branch in the nest.

[Jean]

11:28am..........Standing around and watching all those other eagles is necessary right now.............must keep this nest for themselves.

11:30am......Both became very vocal then Trooper went up to a branch. Ma stayed on her perch.

[Jean]

11:34pm..........Ma is being very thorough with her grooming.

[Jean]

11:36am.......Both calling out again.............

[Jean]

11:38am.............Both adults here...........Trooper on the branch..........Ma on her perch.

[Jean]

11:44am.........Still a few eagles in close proximity to this nest.

[Jean]

11:50am..........Ma called out as Trooper flew down to the nest.

[Jean]

11:56am...........Both began to call out then Trooper left the nest and came to land on a branch higher up from Ma. Both continue to call out. Must be someone flying around.

Time for me to go...............will be back later.

I am now OFF both cams.
