Breakfast is served Mr. Mouse!

I just have to turn away when the bonking happens, I just have to wait for that time to be over. It's so hard to watch. Sleepy Ma, and sounds like the chicks are hungry

So sweet, dual feeding by Mom and Dad. Not sure how much each got because they were bonking constantly.

Picture of feeding with egg in the background. Can’t see the pip but another one I saw but couldn’t capture definitely showed it.

This was from earlier this morning and they seemed like they were getting along quite well. Poor Dad was trying to help out Mom.

Well, the bonking continues so they are just moving targets at their feeding. Pip on egg #3 progressing. Cute closeup

Evening Sauces :bye 1:

Great to see all your posts and nest observations

The third chick was nearly out of its shell just a bit ago so we have three chicks :rh:

Hopefully the bonking settles down ... lots of food will usually fix that.

There has been lots of messy meals on the nest. I did some videos but then decided it was too gross to share.

Caught several feedings but this is the last one I just saw. All 3 sitting up nicely and being fed before the 2 oldest started their bonking. Mom stopped feeding and sat on them to calm them down.

Oh my, thank you so much Kitcat11848, your pictures are fantastic and I hope your permission would be granted to share them with the group over at the Eagle Chatters forum?
With so much happening right now it's been a very busy time for several nests, the high activity in my area with the bird population, and some personal health issues with family, my time is spread thin.
So very happy you posted several pictures!

Good Morning Sauces

Rainna, Kitcat, Thanks for all your reports and screen captures ... there are so many nests and eagle families to watch via live cam now it is difficult to watch them all.

653 am
Early morning feeding this morning ... priceless family interaction.

This nest is a mess; bloody seal or sea lion placenta everywhere but so nutritious. Just watched Mom feed or try to feed the 3 bobble triplets.

Looks like #3 is very hungry so climbed out of the nest bowl

Mom covered #3 up with that bloody mess but thank goodness she realized it and uncovered him.

Look how cute all 3 are lined up to be fed. Much better that way than bonking each other.

At 3:30 am Sauces time I was checking in to see how everyone was and I saw a mouse in the upper left corner. What a very brave (or hungry) little rodent. :bye 1:
