12:53 pm - our eagles are still on the port pole and center tower
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
12:54 pm - both eagles flew off at the same time. I tried following the one on the center tower as they went to the left but lost them.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:00 pm - the W Cam has quite a bit of condensation on it.....cannot see the Delta Port pole or anything to the left....and it is also blocking some of the area over to the right.....towards the far right tower.
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:11 pm - this is the first time I have ever seen an eagle in this tree to the left of the evergreen tree....what's up with that?
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:13 pm - I'm not sure which eagle this is but will assume it's Trooper since he's new here and he will go wherever he wants....I am pretty sure Ma has not been here but I could be wrong.
And off they went
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:18 pm - someone flying above the tree...could be our eagle but not sure
One eagle on the port pole
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:19 pm - and here comes their mate
Together again
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:24 pm - they kept looking to the right so I checked and the only other bird I saw is on the tower to the left of the far right tower
Re: Delta2 2018 -2019 Observation and Discussion Thread
1:42 pm - Ma & Trooper are still on the port pole. The E Cam is now getting all fogged up too. Seems to clear up and then fog over again. Since our pair seems to be staying here I am going to bring the cams back to the nest and log off.
1:45 pm - I am now off the cams.
Edit just to add that the nest looks so fluffy.

Here's a short recording from earlier when there was an adult on the distant evergreen tree and a juvie joined them there. The first part (1 minute) is the original, and the 2nd half is a zoomed in version. When I zoomed in I noticed that the juvie seemed to slap the adult with its wing. Was kind of funny. Wish I knew if that was one of our adults and if it was, maybe that was Dusk or Dawn.....thinking Dawn would do something like that, lol.

Love the video, Sue. Yes, the story in my mind would be Dawn pestering the adult.

3:18 pm and there they are. Ma and Trooper at the Delta Port pole. After making a few trips around the area, finally, we catch up or they caught up with me. Regardless, happy to finally see them.

3:25 pm Ma and Trooper still at the Delta Port pole. I am thinking Ma is on the left and Trooper on the right.

3:29pm..........Thanks Sue and Sandy for taking the cams! Just got home from the vet and can help out now! Sue, I've never seen anyone in that tree before either...........all the more reason to think it was Trooper........otherwise we would likely have seen Ma there in the past.
