Thanks about the pics and bummer about the broken phone Judi. If your phone is still under warranty it costs about $40 to replace the screen if that' s what is cracked. :)
Cute Christmas owls.

Thanks for the Tini's being fed video Iona. :)

I hope you're unstuck tomorrow Naoma. :mihihi:

Thanks Carolyn for the poems and the donkey and horse sanctuary info.

Thanks Scott for the recent eagle pictures and everything else you do for us. I have not been out eagling for a long time. A visit to Pa Sidney is in order . I wonder if that is our Ma that came back! :luck:

Hi judi: Ian and I are not going for our wee getaway until February 21. Nice birthday cake for Doreen. Hard to believe she is gone. Sorry for all your troubles. I hope 2019 is a better year for you.

Naoma: First Christmas in Florida. :thumlft:

:bye 1: Iona and Wind.

Cold but clear here. Yardley is sleeping in her outdoor box. Grumble was absent for at least 5 days. I put up 5 posters in the neighbourhood yesterday afternoon and sure enough, he came for dinner last night. He was hungry but not starving. Very curious. We are still working on getting him to a veterinarian ...............

Good Afternoon (here).....
I hope you all are having a great day. i loved the story about the Fisher!

Lynda, Who is Grumble? I had not heard about him and frankly, he is precious while aptly named. Perfect.

Judi, sorry things not going right, agree with Lynda, hopefully a better 2019.

iona, I hope all those pups find wonderful homes.

I was at the bank this AM, getting cash from the ATM, which makes the dogs go to the door of the bank for their withdrawal (2 biscuits) which they got. Then everyone in the bank came out who could to meet the Therapy Dogs and thank them...what is a better way than a biscuit? It was super nice......and they loved the treat.

Have a great day....
carolyn

Sunshine, snow (not), leaves falling down,
it seems to be everywhere not just around,
the piles are beginning to abound,
sweep them up, find the pup and clean it up, for now.

Carolyn: Mr Grumble is a presumed stray who showed up in my yard about a year and a half ago. He is an intact male and quite unique looking. Between myself and a neighbour and friend up the street from me, we have been feeding him and trying to get him tame enough to kennel so we can take him to a vet to be checked out and neutered. So far no luck with a capture . We have a vet who specialises in strays on standby. It is just a matter of getting the timing right for all involved. Not easy when he is unpredictable and often disappears for days at a time. Could be he actually belongs to someone so I am leaving the posters up to see if we get a response or at least more information. Yes he is aptly named. He grumbles to himself all the time.

Mr. Grumbles looks like a small grouchy bobcat with a lot of something else in him, Lynda.

Saw Mr Grumble on Facebook and wanted him ever since I saw his photo as he reminds me of Hobo the stray I eventually caught in the 90's after I had put out food for him for months so he wouldn't eat slugs, and he would finally come up to the balcony door and check out Raven and Sylvester when we had our first German Shepherd Maxwell grabbed him after months of feeding and took him to the SPCA Hospital (what a smell)by his male stray reeked smell and had his shots done and neutered all in the same day , the day after I captured him....Raven my Black Cat ended up either killing him or he got hit by a car but came home to die in my arms or outside the balcony door where Raven and Sylvester would never accept him and let him in.....RIP Hobo
I've asked Lynda for him, Mr. Grumble a couple of times, I like his looks, but didn't know he was still a stray Mr. Grumble I want you if Elle ever can get you neutered and shots (I will pay the bills) she can send him to me from Victoria to Vancouver to rescue and be friends with Einstein until ……………….. :cat: Love me some Mr Grumble
