Good afternoon, Bev, Steph, carolyn and all -

The osprey have been gone from the nests I check most often for at least a few days now - and it looks as if the wind is blowing from the North today - which would help them on their migration.

As you've all said so well, it is a bittersweet moment - fly safe, Mel - and have lots of fun and fish!

And a belated "Safe Travels - and lots of fun and fish" to Boski, and have a good winter, Oscar and Ethel, and we'll be looking for you in the spring.

I couldn't have said it better myself Bev! Thank you so much for this season and to you also Carolyn and Judy.

It has been a fun season and that sweet Mel just couldn't pass up a few more fish from Dad. And I bet Boksi has learned so much already on her migration!

See you next time Ethel and Oscar :rh:

Good night everyone :grhug:

The ospreys have returned, and the cam is up! Not sure I like what's on the nest, though. Bev, do you know if that's part of the nest structure? And if not, will anyone will do nest maintenance or cleanup?

Thanks Sue for the heads up... :woohoo: Welcome home Ethel and Oscar  ..Looks like the nest took a beating from all the rain and wind .. No Sue the Osprey will have to do their own nest maintenance ..it wouldn't be wise for humans to that .. it could scare the osprey off ~

I will lock this thread and open the new one ...BRB
