8am - Bee was at usual area, by the Nooksack River
4pm - farther south to Bellingham Bay, in the tidal zone
Map shows a straight line but it's likely the route was along the Nooksack River that feeds into the bay

I wonder if Bee went island hopping following herring spawn?

It's possible. iNaturalist Herring Spawn and Nurseries Project maps show spawns in these areas.
