January 6th updater - TERF24 near landfill on January 5th, east side of pond
Jan 6th 10am - near southeast corner of pond, in the trees

January 8th update - she may be hunting ducks etc., abundant in Boundary Bay
8am on Jan 7 and Jan 8 - TERF24 at shore in tidal zone -

I was going through my email and found some pictures of TERF24 from approximately June 27, 2022, when she was rescued after falling from the nest. The pictures are on the first page, here - viewtopic.php?f=95&t=671&p=648667#p648667


She was taken to OWL to be checked out and released a couple of weeks later - and she's been a busy young eagle since then!

January 12th update - east side of pond by landfill, taking shelter in freezing weather?
Jan 10 4:01pm - in trees east side of road
Jan 12 8:01am - closer to road, still in trees

January 14th update = TERF24 continues in same area, she appears to be staying in close range...

January 18th update - Cold and snowy.
It appears that TERF24 moved only short distance since previous update.
More concerned about her well-being

January 21st update - TERF24 continued in same area - moved around a bit

January 24th update - TERF24 moved to nearby trees

January 25th - 8am - TERF24 by road along east side of the pond

January 28th update - TERF24 moved about the trees at southeast corner by the pond

It looks as if TERF24 is finally moving around a bit more!

She was back closer to the pond later on the 4th.

Oops - forgot to clarify that the time stamps use the local computer time of the person viewing the map - so any time stamps I post are in eastern time, three hours later than BC's pacific time - thanks for catching that, Lynne!

February 11th tracker update - TERF24 flew north from landfill!
Feb 10 4pm - north side of inlet in forest
Feb 11 8am - south across inlet to forest, north side of Simon Fraser University

February 15th tracker update - TERF24 did a tour from SFU
Feb 12th - north of Capilano Lake
Feb 13th - North Vancouver
Feb 14th - south to Boundary Bay
Feb 15th - 8am - shore of Boundary Bay
4pm - at her favorite area south of the landfill
