With thanks to photographer Olaf Kringhaug from the Facebook group Lower Mainland Raptors, and forum member Sally/NSEN who saw his post, we have an update on TERF06 and a wonderful picture (clicks bigger):

Olaf said that the photo was taken west of 72nd, along the dyke of Boundary Bay. Keeping in mind that I am not from BC so don't know the area well, it sounds as if TERF06 may have been not that far from OWL, and perhaps heading for the Vancouver Landfill, which is a gathering spot for eagles, and was where she was tagged a bit over 3 years ago. Our Boundary Bay Central eagle cam nest is over towards the right, sort of near where the red x is. I think the Boundary Bay Dyke Trail runs along the edge of the bay from the US border above Point Roberts to Mud Bay Park - sounds like a lovely hike!
Here's a cropped version of the picture above to provide a better look at the band number and the determined look in her eyes!
TERF06 hatched in the spring of 2020 and got her tracker in the fall of that year, so she'll be four years old this spring. It's been a while since we've had an update from her - possibly partly because her tracker is getting older, and partly because the trackers don't always work with US cell towers, and she does spend a lot of time "south of the border" - and that makes it expecially sweet to have an update!
Added - Olaf said the picture was taken around 1 pm on January 9, 2024, and she was about half way between 64th and 72nd along the Boundary Bay Dyke. She was with two adults and another juvenile, and the four had just finished sharing a duck.
