Hi folks!
I'm working on a new page for our eagles with trackers on the website, one that will have links for all the eagles with trackers that we've followed (no combined map because it would be too confusing - but everyone's individual maps) - and as part of that project, I'm trying to do a summary of where each eagle has been so far.
I've just finished Loki's - and it's not exactly a brief summary.
It starts here -

Big thanks to
Lynne who did much of the research I used for the summary (and my apologies if I got confused about what was where). I'm trying to think of additional ways to make it more accessible - maybe different text colors for when she's in BC, AK, WA and OR? Though that gets a bit tricky when she's bouncing back and forth across a border.
If anyone actually manages to read all this, please feel free to correct typos if you have the permissions to do that, or call them to my attention if you're more comfortable doing that. Thank you!
The website page I'm working on is
https://hancockwildlife.org/beta-bald-e ... ll-eagles/ - and I haven't updated Loki's page yet (I started with BACA01 and am going in alphanumeric order). I'll probably break up the Summary of Travels even more for the web, like I did for BETA03.
For now I'm planning for the index page to have pictures of the eagles who are still active and who have pictures, and use a map picture for the rest; at some point I may add maps for all of them - that would make it easier for someone to scroll down and see which eagles visited a certain area.
I know this is a bit off-topic, but I would like input and suggestions, and I think this is currently our most active tracked eagle thread, so I decided to post this here. Thanks for your help and suggestions!
