Re: Tracking TERF07/Arctic Gal
Wow - she is busy! Have to admit I'd sort of like to be in the arctic this month - it's been very hot in Maine, and I understand BC is getting a share of that.
Still - it's a long flight. Amazing that she goes so far north.
Thanks for all your posts here, Lynne - this is all so amazing!

Re: Tracking TERF07/Arctic Gal
If it stays this hot in Maine much longer, I just might try to organize a trip up there!

Unfortunately I had to renew my passport, and the new one hasn't arrived - so maybe not quite yet.

Wonderful to see her doing so well - and how amazing how far she's traveled!

Please read about pingos, ice dome hills, and Pingo National Landmark. This is a special place.
Wildlife in this part of the Arctic include grizzly and polar bear, 2 species of fox, Arctic ground squirrel. Birds include Brant geese, Tundra swan, loons, greater white-fronted geese, snow geese, eiders, green-winged teal, long-tailed duck and gulls. (Wikipedia for Pingo Canadian Landmark).
