Re SR
Both Cams are down Thank you
Bev
Good observation, Jean - and it's too late here for me to be completely coherent, but I suspect that means that in spite of getting faster internet at the site, it has trouble handling both the feed to the embedded cams and the bandwidth needed for you to be on the cams. We've already upgraded the internet on site, so I really don't know what else can be done, but there may be other parts of the equipment that haven't been upgraded, and could be replaced with more efficient models.Jean wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 4:34 pm4:30pm.....Embedded cams at Delta are also offline........don't know for how long.
Must say this.............this is not the first time I've noticed but can confirm it now. When the embedded cams go down the zoomer cams lose all those problematic issues we have talked about in the past. Right now while zooming I notice:
Cam controls have instant response when buttons pushed. Such a pleasure to use.
Cams glide as smooth as silk. They just glide along as they should.
Everything is nice and clear with the view.
No drag or resistance at all on the cams.![]()
No overshooting of the target.
Cams stop right away and suddenly when button is not pressed.
S'caps are loaded quickly and posting goes fast. It hasn't been like this for a long time. Forum running well.
Everything with the zoomer cams is wonderul right now!
Could not wish for them to be any better when they are like this. So why are they so awful when the embedded cams are not offline?
Everything should be up except Harrison Mills - power has been restored per the BC power website, so we'll keep fingers crossed that at least one cam will come back up soon.
9:46 am Thanks Judy No Cams at H Mills yet
Thanks, Yolande! Email sent to Ken.
Hi Judy and thanks Ken
