Thanks so much, Judy.. Perhaps Ken will be able to restore the 'view' on the SPTZ. I seem to remember it happening before...

I know you are both already very busy right now, though!

10:58 am from Delta 2 east and west embedded cams: east cam is offline and the west cam does now have rollback on the DVR.

Both Delta embedded cams appear to be streaming - East dvr only goes back a few minutes, so I think Ken just restarted it.

He and I are both able to do it - but I just checked and he made the same change at Harrison North, so he may be seeing if it affects ... something. If we knew the something that needed fixing, it would be easier to figure how to do it - but since we don't, we probably will try other things that cause temporary issues. So far this doesn't seem to have helped (the HM embedded cams are down) so he may be planning to put it back soon (or it may be part of a bigger experiment). Please remind me tomorrow if it's still set this way. Thanks!

If that's what Yolande was describing, it's a setting Ken is testing. We don't really expect it will help, but we'll wait to see how long the cam stays up before changing it.

Surrey North embedded is streaming, though it's having some issues.

Ken is working on getting Surrey South back on our website, and I've taken it off my personal website to reduce the load.

7:14 am for Delta 2 both east and west embedded cams are offline. Linux logged in at 6:35 am and both were online. But when both of us checked at 7:00 am, both offline. I am on the zoomer cams and they are working properly.

Update: the west embedded cams is back. The east cam is still offline.

11:49 am - Good Morning All!

Just an FYI that if you go to the main HWF Cam page to get on the Delta 2 Embedded Cams the E Embedded Cam is not pointing to the Live feed, see first s'cap below. If you go in directly to YouTube (2nd s'cap below) you can see there are 2 Live feeds listed for the E Cam. Only one of them is working (this is the working one, which is the 2nd one listed: HWF-Delta2-E Live Stream. Just thought I would mention this as some users go into the embedded cams from the HWF Cam page.

Also note that there are three Live feeds shown on the YouTube page (3rd s'cap below) for the W Cam as well but only one of those (the first Live feed on the list) is working. But the good thing is that the HWF Cam page has the correct Live feed for the W Cam.

I'm not sure I completely follow you, Sue. Ah-ha - I think I discovered what may be happening. The original page for the D2-E cam was HWF-Delta2-E - and I don't remember why, but at some point we had a problem with it, and set up a new YouTube channel HWF-Delta2-E-1, which is what we've been using recently.

My guess is that Ken has totally set up and reconfigured his software several times over the past week, and at some point when he went to YouTube to get the code to link our feed to one of our channels, he linked the feed to the old D2-E channel - which apparently now works.

When I sent Ken a list of embedded cams that aren't currently streaming, I included D2-E - and when he checked it, he must have realized he'd linked to the old page, and redid that link because now our Live Cams page is showing the feed from East.

I have no clue why those links on the D2-W page all say Live - my guess is it's some issue at YouTube. I know that if you use "copy video URL" from YouTube, you get the address of the page where the cam is currently streaming (sample: https://youtu.be/Qhi5xO567co) - but that changes any time you reboot the stream; when we embed the cams, we use the channel name (sample: https://www.youtube.com/embed/live_stre ... JlWzOv9lNg) which embeds the current live stream on that page, and thus doesn't change.

No clue if that makes sense (and I rarely watch on YouTube - and would appreciate a reminder once the cams are streaming consistently to make sure we have some basic info about HWF and the nest on the YouTube pages; I don't want to be editing the text while Ken is replacing the stream  - :mihihi: ).

Is everything working now for you re Delta East? If not, what needs to be fixed.

If you have other questions or if I totally missed what you were trying to ask, please do feel free to try again.

And thanks.

Thanks Judy! I think everything is working now at Delta 2.....the E Embedded cam is running at 720p which is lower than we had in the past but it's not a problem as long as it is up and streaming. Now we just need the smoke/fog to leave and our eagles to return. :eag: :eag:
