All the embedded cams I have up (2 SR, 2 D2, 1 HM, 1 WR) just went to black with spinning circles. It could be Ken rebooting his system, or a YouTube issue. I'll try to check in a minute.

Added -
Embedded cams came back up when I reloaded the pages - took a couple of tries for some of them.

12:52pm..........Was just on the zoomer cams at Delta2. The forum in general seems to be running slow and has been for a few days now..........posting taking too long and sometimes I've had weird things happen when I try to post.............and all cams, zoomers and embedded ones are jerking/stalling and very difficult to control properly. Lots of spinning circles for many, many days. The W zoomer cam just went black but it did come back. It was extremely difficult just to get the zoomer cams back to the nest.

Thanks, Jean! I've sent a report to the tech folks - will post here when I hear back from them.

Thanks Judy............the second time I took the cams after that they seemed better. But the problems seem to be on and off........and when I also saw the zoomer cams stalling this afternoon I thought I had better say something. Up til then it had only been issues with the embedded cams..........and cam controls of course.

I logged into the cam and it has sound, so I'm doing a reboot, as I've found that often helps restore the sound to the embedded cam.

And I now have sound on the East embedded cam. :)

South is back down - but this is a good sign. I couldn't connect with South on the zoomer link either - am guessing/hoping that Ken is there replacing some parts - which may mean that we may lose North briefly if he replaces any shared components.

I'm getting spinning circles a lot on the Surrey Reserve embedded cams - tried the other cams and had some issues but not as much. Am rebooting the Surrey cams. Is anyone else having issues?

Will reboot my computer in a minute, and then try a non-HWF YouTube stream.

Thanks!

Update - 11:28 pm
I just talked to Ken - he can get the Surrey embedded cams but had issues with Delta 2 embedded cams, which were streaming for me while we talked. He agrees there's an issue and will reboot the Wowza server and check some other things, and I'll check back with him in 30 minutes or so.

The cams themselves are fine - I can log in directly with no problems; it's an issue somewhere between the cam and the Wowza and YouTube and our website. I did try watching Surrey South on YouTube and had the same spinning circles and offline messages. I tried the Trio nest, which is streamed on YouTube, and didn't have a problem with it.

Continuing from my previous post - I think Ken is reassigning codes on the Wowza - and I'm seeing HM South on the Surrey page - but don't panic - it's a temporary thing and he'll get them all back where they belong soon.

12:00 noon
Cams are all back where they belong - but I still get spinning circles on Surrey.
