4:03 am from Surrey, both embedded cams are frozen at 1:33 am.

4:12 am logged into both cams and the north zoomer cam is providing a view but the south zoomer cam is black...no view. 4:14 now no problem as the south cam is viewing. Guess it was a slow load but tried three times to connect. 2024-05-02_06-12-13.jpg
I am having trouble connecting to the Surrey cams to check them before contacting GLS - I can log in, but the window is slow coming up and then shows a black screen. If you are able to get in, I'd recommend staying logged in for as long as you can. Hopefully this is a temporary blip.

Thanks, Judy. I am on and it seems to be holding so will stay on as long as I can.

4:36 am from Surrey, Judy, want to mention the controls on the two zoomer cams are off. The function keys will "take off" and zoom on delay. Something definitely is different between yesterday and today using the directional keys.

8:01 am from Surrey, the south zoomer cam is not connecting to the channel and showing a black screen. Ok, it has now appeared. The connecting process is very slow.

It took me a really long time to log in as well. I'm guessing there's something interfering with or slowing down the internet at the site, but that is just a guess on my part.

The streams for both Boundary Bay cams froze an hour ago, and I'm not able to log into the cams directly. I've sent a message to Ken and to Michael at Green Light Security.

All the other streams are fine.

Boundary Bay cams are still down - I've sent an email to to Michael and Ken asking if there's any update.

Stream for White Rock North is lagging (I thought it was frozen but am now seeing movement) and stream for Mission East is unavailable. I've sent a separate email to Michael and Ken about them.

I think everything else is looking good, and we have a hatch in progress at Surrey Reserve.

I'm afraid I was out this evening - it's looking good now, so they may have noticed and fixed it on their own.

The cams at Mission are streaming again.

We are hoping to have the Boundary Bay cams back online as well, but it may take 10-12 days; still waiting on more details since I haven't heard anything official that I can share.

Everything else is looking good.

Thanks - will report it in a few minutes. We have an osprey pair on the perches above the Mission nest - very exciting to see someone other than crows there.
