Judy, I'm still having to log in every time too and on all my devices. I tried just putting in the forum address instead of my quick icon but still had to log in so the fix dis not work for me. :(

Well drat! And thanks for letting me know, Marianne. Bev/IrishEyes is still having trouble, so it may be a Safari issue (she mentioned that you might also have a Mac). David Hathaway reset the name of the "cookies" that are used to remember things like your login preferences - and it's possible that some people may need to clear their cache or delete the forum cookies so their computers forget the old name.

For everyone still having trouble, the first thing I'd try is closing all the windows you have open in your browser. It may not help, but it's relatively quick and easy to do.

The next thing to try is rebooting your computer, which will clear the cache or short-term memory; leave it off at least a full minute so everything has a chance to power down.

If that doesn't work, the next option is to delete the cookies your browser has saved - there are instructions here - viewtopic.php?p=148341#p148341 - and for at least some of the browsers, we have instructions for deleting the cookies for a particular website, which is more complicated, but if it works, you won't have to re-enter data for other websites where you've saved login info. If you delete all the info, you'll need to log in to other sites like Facebook or your local newspaper or anything that needs a name and password to view.

Please do let me know if you still need to log in every time you go to the forum, and let me know which browser you use, and if your computer is running Windows or Mac or something else. My iPhone with Safari is remembering my login info now, but the app on a phone is probably different than the browser on a regular Apple computer or laptop.

We are getting closer to a solution, so hang in there - and hopefully we'll have everyone able to use "remember me" again before long.

I'm viewing the embedded cam, and it's looking fine to me; I tried a couple of browsers, and looked at both our Live Cams page and direct on YouTube using the link on the cam to view on YouTube.

If it's still doing that, are you using a PC or a Mac? Is it on a computer, or something like a phone or tablet (I don't seem to be able to view the cams on my older iPad, though the new one works fine - but it's not nearby so I didn't just check North on it).

I'll be away from my computer much of the time until sometime this afternoon pacific time - will have my phone but not sure how often I can check for messages.

Zoomers - please feel free to let Ken know if a cam is down or lagging behind, and please CC me and the other zoomers for that cam. Thanks!

It looks like the East embedded cam has been frozen since 6:57pm.
