10:42pm.....This could be weather related due to the strong winds today and weather warning out for the wind. S embedded cam at SR has been doing a bit of this. And going blurry on and off. Thought I should report it anyway.

Thanks, Jean - I'm still streaming Surrey South, and I was was logged into Delta trying to check an issue there, and that probably overloaded my internet - I have fairly fast service for a small town in Maine, but nothing close to what Ken has in Vancouver. I'm out of Delta, and have stopped streaming White Rock CU for now, so maybe the signal won't break up as much. :luck:

Added - if you have quality set to Auto, it may have gone to a lower resolution - which will make things blurry.

General update -

Ken has restarted the stream at Delta 2 East so it's now showing the current time (it was about 30 minutes behind real time). We're still having trouble logging into the cam - he's trying to get in now, and if he does, he'll reboot the cam, and then restart the stream, which may resolve some of those issues. If that doesn't work, he may ask the person at the site to reboot the equipment out there.

Ken has also taken over the streaming for White Rock CU - I was doing that, but don't really have the internet speed needed to stream three cams, so the cam was pretty choppy; I was also using a smaller computer with less memory, which may not have been up to the task.

This means Ken is now streaming all three White Rock cams, both Delta cams, and Surrey North.
I am streaming Surrey South and Harrison Mills.

Ken is planning to rebuild his main computer, but that may take time. Hopefully our somewhat patchwork coverage will work until then.

The East embedded cam at Delta2 seems to be offline, showing a time of 12:34pm now.

Thanks, Rose and Sue. The good news is that I can now log into the cam with the zoomer link without it taking 5 minutes - but it would be nice if it also was streaming. :%:

I've sent a message to Ken.

Both Delta 2 embedded cams are frozen at 11:54 pm, and I couldn't log into either of them directly. I checked the BC Power outages map and didn't see any outages near Delta, so it may be an issue at the site. I've sent a message to Ken.

The other embedded cams are all streaming.

It looks as if White Rock North is frozen at 5:27 pm; I'll send a message to Ken.

The cam itself is OK, and all the other embedded cams are streaming.

Good night, all.

Harrison Mills embedded went to black screen again - and I've refreshed the stream again. We were doing a Skype with a niece, and that may have been too much activity for our internet connection.

The Delta 2 embedded cams went down for a bit - I was writing him an email when I made one last check and found that they were streaming again, so he probably noticed on one of his routine checks.
