Thanks, Heather and Bev - I also hope it's back soon.

I didn't see anything on the power outages site, though it may take a while before things show up there.

I'll let Ken know, and check again in the morning in the hopes that it's come back.

5:07 am checking in to see a report has been made for the video unavailable for the embedded cams. Also happening at Surrey too. Note: I was able to log into the south cam without any issues.

Good morning, everyone. I suspect Ken's computer went off during the night. I sent an email to him when I saw Sandy's message, and I see that one of the Surrey cams is streaming, so I suspect that he's now in the process of restarting all the streams.

7:51 am
Delta and Surrey cams are back, and White Rock North. I suspect the other two WR cams will be back soon.

7:52 am
White Rock CU is back.

When the computer doing the streaming crashes, Ken has to open the streaming software for each of the cams and restart it. It only takes a minute or two to do that for each cam (if all goes well), but with 7 cams, the whole process takes a while.

And all WR cams are streaming as of 7:55, though it's very foggy there this morning so not a lot to sea.

It looks as if Delta West embedded is frozen at 12:55 pm. I logged in quickly and the cam itself looks fine, so I'll send an email to Ken so he can check the feed to YouTube.

1:06pm the East-Cam is behaving very badly at Delta2. It may be it can't handle all of the additional movement because of the wind. Both cams do pixelate more during the wind but E-Cam especially.

This is what's happening a lot when looking at the embedded E-cam view.

When looking through the zoomer E-cam it's black screen constantly unless you are using Stream 3. Usually I can switch back and forth when moving it and when it's stationery, but not today.

I noticed that as well, Rose - and I think it is the wind. I'm not sure which cam needed to have its cabling spliced, but it seems to me that could also make it more sensitive to motion from the wind. And I've noticed that the cam shakes when an owl lands on the big sticks attached to the nest shade and cam supports - so there is a bit of give somewhere.

I'll mention it to Ken, but I don't think there's anything that can be done.
