Looks like the East embedded cam at Delta2 is frozen at 12:49pm. Very windy again (it seems).

2:09pm now it seems to have jumped ahead to 1:13pm.

If the presets aren't taking you to the correct location, I can try to recalibrate the cam (I think that's term) - doing that will help if the cam got jiggled or bumped so its internal compass got upset (or whatever it uses as a starting point to know where all the other settings are located). When we had a cam at the Lafarge factory, it was on a building that vibrated when they ran certain processes - and it needed to be recalibrated fairly often.

That will only help if it's a software issue. If the cam has actually moved, I should recalibrate it first, but you probably will need to redo the presets.

If "wonky" means something other than going to the wrong place when you use a preset, I'll need more details to figure out how to fix it.

I get "video unavailable" when I try to view the embedded cam. The cam itself was fine when I logged in to check (and showed the current time) - at least after I switched the control window to the lower resolution Sub Stream setting.

I've sent a message to Ken.

Thanks Judy... yes it's changed again since I last added to this, to "video unavailable", as you say.

thinking its that the presets aren't taking me to the correct location .
I can't check with NORTH to get a look at CU housing to see if it shifted. You checked last time this happened and could confirm the housing was same as when it was installed.

Thanks! I'll log into North for a quick look, and then I'll log into CU to try recalibrating it again.

I am out of both cams - and good news! I think Calibrate solved the problem. I tried a couple of presets first, and they did not go where they should - and after I ran Calibrate, I tried them again, and they look pretty good to me.

I posted a picture of the CU cam from the North cam on the White Rock thread - but my guess is that all the wind we've been having didn't move the cam, but shook it enough that it sort of forgot where it was (that's the non-technical term :%: ).

Anyway, I think it's fixed - but if not, please let me know and we'll look a little deeper.

Thanks, Amy! WA is streaming now (7:46 am) but CU is frozen at 5:13 am for me, so I'll let Ken know.
