It's back.

It's possible that both Ken and I are trying to send a signal to YouTube and our signals are crossing. I've just reset the feed from my computer and on YouTube, and it's working again now. When it's a little later in the morning, I'll check with Ken and see if he wants me to continue streaming South, or if it would be simpler for him to take over.

It's back.

It's possible that both Ken and I are trying to send a signal to YouTube and our signals are crossing. I've just reset the feed from my computer and on YouTube, and it's working again now. When it's a little later in the morning, I'll check with Ken and see if he wants me to continue streaming South, or if it would be simpler for him to take over.

I'm finding that the embedded cams are reverting to video (Surrey North almost constantly for me) - they're OK when I click Live, but a minute or two later, Surrey North is back to showing 8 pm yesterday, and French Creek and Harrison South both did that a couple of times as well.

Might be my computer - I have a lot of windows open, and am streaming Harrison South, which uses bandwidth - but could be an issue with the cams or YouTube.

Sun is shining and I'm off for a walk - back in a while.

Thanks, Bev - I had noticed that, and am hoping for the best.

FYI - I still have South streaming from my place; Ken was on his way out when he tried to switch it to his computer, and it didn't work as the embedded cam went down once I turned off my stream - so I turned it back on. We'll sort it out later today or tomorrow.

Embedded cams are back - Ken says that the YouTube keys expired and had to be reset.

Looks as if embedded cams except HM-S are all frozen at 10:09 (I wondered why Sur was so still...).

I haven't heard back from Ken - he usually responds to text messages quickly, so he may be away from his computer.

Added - I just spoke with him - it will be a couple of hours before he'll be able to do anything.

I'll continue to stream Harrison South, and will try to add Surrey North since they are close to laying eggs (nest is empty now). If that works, I'll consider adding a third cam - but I don't have anywhere near the internet speed that Ken does, so not sure if that will work.

Embedded cams should all be streaming - Surrey North and Harrison Mills South are coming from my computer, and the rest are coming from Ken's computers.

Ken is going to need to do a reboot of his computer sometime this evening, so the cams he is streaming may go down briefly while that happens; he'll get them back as fast as he can.
