Hello LP, and others peaking in.

No matter where you live, I hope you all make time to check out the Total Solar Eclipse Monday. It will be pretty special.
Total solar eclipses are rare, and aren't often visible from the U.S. There will not be another total solar eclipse until the year 2045.
The Eclipse shadow will travel across North America, at 1,100 miles per hour at the equator, and up to 5,000 miles per hour near the poles." (nasa.gov).
I will be in the 99° totality area.
You can watch LIVE at NASA - from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. EDT. Monday, April 8, 2024.

Good Tuesday morning everyone. Air show this week here. Good for businesses but oh the noise. Do get to see a lot of it for free from my house though.
Carol---that is one fine dog you have. Has a great tail--bet it could alert you to eagles easy enough. ;)

Happy Tuesday, everyone :)
Ahh, Springtime! I'm enjoying each new morning, checking to see what flowers are blooming.
Already had to do the 1st grass mowing, but I'm one of those people that loves to mow :D

Sunnybird and LazyParrot, thanks for your nice comments about Layla...she is a wonderful companion for me and, yes, if anything is new or different, she alerts me.
LazyParrot, do you ever go to the air show?
Sunnybird, the Decorah eaglets are adorable.

Lovinnature, those were perfect tunes for eclipse day :%:

Sometimes VERY hard to tell if Loggerhead Shrike or Mockingbird is pestering the eagles.
Hope this helps (still not easy with some of limited views we get).:

The link for this petition to protect the eagles on Bayshore Rd. and is given on MLIZ Facebook page. Am making no claims about the site but I did give name and e-mail to sign. Did not donate because not sure they need a lot of money for this AND do not like using PayPal and Flatly refuse to give credit card info to someone I don't know. Check it out if you want.
