Some pictures from my visit to Tamarack Wildlife Center in Saegertown, Pa.
Was able to see the exam and treatment room where they imped Rosie's feathers.
It is a small center compared to CROW and the Virginia Wildlife Center, but they make good use
of the room they have. They even had the Avian skeletal system posted...
now where have we seen that before?
:D

Parasite- bot worm in jar. Happy they will be getting their own X-ray machine soon.
They had the children making owl puppets.
Who's that hiding behind the bald eagle wingspan? :chin:

What a fun trip that must have been, Suemac! I’m glad you got to go. Hmmm, who could that be hiding behind the eagle wingspan? :puzz:
Best wishes,

Peggy :)

Some of the Ambassadors of the Tamarack Wildlife Center:
Sophia, a barred owl

Watson, American Kestrel

Romeo, great-horned owl in their new outdoor aviary.
The volunteers told me he had a female great-horned owl visit him last week
outside the aviary and they were talking to each other.

This is Ruby, a red-tailed hawk that lost her right eye from an injury after fledging her nest in 2019.
They had a naming contest that year...I lost-
BTW my wingspan is as big as a red- tailed hawk!

Look how pretty her red tail is

**** I tried my best to get a glympse of Rosie :eag: , but they wouldn't let anyone in there.
I did ask though. She is doing well and they are anticipating a release in November. :luck:
The refreshments were good too- had some mulled cider for the first time!

 Sumac -Thanks for photos of your visit yesterday. Sorry you didn't get to see Rosy, but it is probable best for her.
About the cameras at Fort Myers---is there sound now at the pond? I think I'm hearing sounds of rain this afternoon. :puzz:

Hi everyone. I'm lost with the various chats now. Is there a new link for the new season for SWFL Eagle nest? Thank you.

Hello eagle friends after a long Summer. :) It's great to see the cams up already. Hope everything survives Ian without too much damage. See you soon at SWFEC. Nest looks great already and after Ian plenty of time for repairs. :) Thanks for your posts and scaps.

 WarEagleWatcher,
The new Hancock Forum thread has not been opened yet. MaryF is still working on the thread.
She most likely or Journi may announce it here with a link to the new thread. So stay tuned.... Chatroll chat
is on the Pritchett cam website and usually starts around November, but announcements will be made ahead of time.
