Sea Eagles at Australia nest.
Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
These birds are so pretty. Stop finding new stuff for me to watch! I saw the date stamp, and I'm like, "Hey, this isn't live! This is from June." And THEN I realized, "Oh, other countries list the DAY first THEN the month." Are we the only country that does month 1st then day?LazyParrot4 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 05, 2022 11:24 amSea Eagles at Australia nest.

I have so many open tabs on my phone for all these different nests. Victor's home nest at Frasier Pt is quiet. Catalina West End is devoid of fledglings, but Momma (?) has shown up at the nest site the last 2 days and stayed there for an hour or so each time (looking for her babies?). Yesterday she ate lunch there by herself. Catalina Two Harbors had visits at both on- and off-nest sites yesterday. Very squawky. And Decorah north kids are still around and amusing and so loud....
Also, does anyone else think "feathered pantaloons" when they see the birds' legs?

Laura G.--- I've always thought of fuzzy sweat pants, but "feathered pantaloons" sound so much better.

Despite the variety of date formats used around world, the US is the only country to insist on using mm-dd-yyyy.

How about feathered bloomers? Or the cockney, bloomin' feathers?LazyParrot4 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 05, 2022 11:48 amLaura G.--- I've always thought of fuzzy sweat pants, but "feathered pantaloons" sound so much better.

Breakfast time for eaglets.
Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Thanks Laura G on the Victor update. I am loving all the different nests.
Lazy Parrot, I have been watching our white-bellied sea eagles.
Since they are in Australia, I think we should call them leg feathers " bloomers down under" (groan)
Glad you got your internet back. Missed your morning posts.

Re: CHAT-N-BOBBLE
Good Morning Everyone.
Looks so dark at the Sidney nest even around noon. We are so accustomed to year-round bright sunny days here in Florida, that the contrast is notable. Remember seasons reversed "down under".
