Sunnybird, I love seeing your s'caps of the cuties at Decorah nest :)

LazyParrot, thanks for the info links for shrikes & mockingbirds :thumlft: ...I still have a hard time telling them apart on the cams.

Sue and LazyParrot, I appreciate your posts and s'caps in the forum...thank you!
You both got some that were really hard for me to capture.

I'm thinking that e23 may leave by April 23rd :(

Interesting Carol. How did you pick that date for E23 to leave?

LazyParrot, I just feel that e23 has learned so much, quickly, and is ready to go.
Also, e23 will be 114 days old on the 23rd, and I have a hunch he/she will beat e21's record.
Of course, I could be totally wrong :D

Good Sunday morning everyone.
Here are a couple of scenes from the Mississippi River Flyway this morning:

Carol--I agree E23 is advanced and think they may be the earliest of all of M15's offspring to leave. Hope not though. I think they could use more training in finding and getting food.

Thank you Carol, LazyParrot and Suemac for keeping your Eagle Eyes on E23.
E23 is certainly "advanced" for their age. :D ;)

DN17 & DN 18 at the Decorah North nest are growing every day.
Look at those crops.
Both hatched only 20 days ago

One is even attempting self feeding---from Sat.
