It was a windy afternoon. The tree was swaying. E29 and E30 were laying low.

The tower was disappearing. The lights below reflecting off the low dense fog. No Arouras tonight

Hi everyone---am one of the lucky ones---didn't lose electricity. It's still dark outside so can't see a lot. All I do see is a few tree limbs down and a lot of little pieces of shredded tree branches with leaves. I don't even know how high wind speed got here last night. Just know that it sounded like a jet plane near by. Slept through most of it. Will take shutters off windows when daylight comes. Maybe the parrot will eat---has eaten almost nothing for past 2 days. I hate the dark just as much as she does, but I eat. Can't MAKE a bird do anything! Mind of her own just like Harriot and M.
One of my first thoughts this morning was that CROW is going to need a lot of help to keep going after this storm.

Peggy. Yes, that's nest with juveniles sleeping. Thanks.
Suemac. That map was just what I've always needed. Have never had a good picture in my mind where the nest is located. So afraid that the nest tree toppled because the ground was already saturated before this awful storm. Noticed the ruts left by the big red mower a few days ago. Thanks for keeping up with the Sydney Sea Eagle nest. Nice pictures. And yes, I would like to try some of that eel.
Journey and Sunnybird for the good wished. Guess they helped because I certainly got through the storm relatively unscathed.
Time to get to work. Will tune in later.

Not sure if I'm repeating info that you all know, but Essec posted on a new forum thread that's been set up on the SWFEC page for updates. It took me a while to get set up, it seemed to work better on my computer than on my phone. You can sign up to post there, if you want to and check for updates. Yes, Lazy Parrot- it is a huge bridge and this looks close to the ground level, so hopefully
this will be able to be repaired. The island roads also have been washed away in spots, so there
is considerable damage on the island. CROW will be facing many challenges.
