Weather was kind to us, a bit of routine wind gusts today but the rain was only 1 1/4 " so soaked in nicely. It was a strange storm behavioral pattern.

:bye 1: for now. :)

Your weather is good to hear Naoma....was thinking of you.

Thank you Judi for birthday wishes, albeit I had ice cream not cake. :)

Scott, good for you landline, no smart phone. I do not use majority of features on smart phone.

That video is precious! That reminds me of the time that Rambo (my daughter's former cat) got outside. We told Gus Gus and Bleu to go get him and they went corralled him and brought him back (herding him). He did not try again.

Great vid of the dog getting the cat inside Naoma. :mihihi:
That is a pretty relaxed cat.

Cute story about Gus Gus, Bleu, and Rambo, Carolyn. Smart dogs and another relaxed cat. :mihihi:

Iona, The birthday stilts link did not work for me but the pictures that go thru my head are  :w00t:

I'm glad to read Dr Lynn's fall/winter backyard updates again, Scott. :)
I've never actually seen a grouse. They look like beautiful birds.

Carolyn, Gus & Bleu were your SKP (escapee) kitty wranglers. :D

Good night wishes :bye 1:

Yes, indeed kitty wranglers.....Gus Gus was Bleu's brother, by next litter. He died at age 9 of liver cancer. I still miss that dog and his family truly misses him, although Molly is a wonderful doodle. Gus Gus used to come over and walk with me, a highlight for him. Actually, when she knew he was going, he had a last walk, the saddest walk I have ever taken. He could not complete it all, but he loved the minutes he did. That is how pets leave pawprints on our hearts.

Who thought I would grow to care about a grouse escaping hunting season? Go figure....stay safe grouse.
Good Night,

Thanks for the puppy weights Iona. :)

I've seen grouse around here a couple times Naoma but only when they've flown off when I hadn't seen them so not the greatest view. :)

That's nice you were able to take Gus Gus on his last walk Carolyn. Sad for you but probably a good one for him even if he couldn't finish it.
I always pull for the animals during hunting season too. :)

Scott, Gus Gus was prancing on that last walk....that was amazing to see. My daughter came and got him when he got too tired. I am so glad I did that. He was Bleu's best buddy...glad she has Andi now. Andi keeps her smiling and Bleu plays with her when she wishes, and not when she does not wish (then she sleeps).

I was glad to see Jody elected too Judi. She seems like an honest politician. :)
Great that you've made things easier for Einstein. It's not easy taking care of a large dog when they start having mobility issues.
The sun was a nice surprise when it finally showed itself today.
