Good Morning All,

Tex - I had a hawk visit yesterday. A coopers hawk landed on my flower planter and looked for any opportunities. but all the little birdies had flown off. But there was one lone crow who stood very still at the feeder. The hawk decided to fly off empty talloned.

Elle - hope you enjoy you're break looking forward to pics

My heart is with you Iona :huggie:

Scott - going eagle viewing anytime soon? I love your pics

Carolyn - I bet Andi is just the cutest pup around right now, hope your weather has been better

Judi - lovely pics of the family

I was home yesterday, we got snow Tuesday night and rain/freezing rain all day yesterday. But then today is supposed to be high of 61F. Weird weather :dunno:

hugs all around,
:grhug:

Our weather is rainy today, been having lots of that, then lots of green all over and plants flowering. I love the cooler temps so thankfully they are here! Yes, Andi is adorable, a bundle of doodle love and fun. Bleu is adorable too been feeling so much better that it is wonderful.

We have flocks coming in of various birds and just landing in palm tree, fun to see.

One funny thing about Andi is she is jealous. You cannot pet Bleu without her coming over and if Bleu has a bone, even if she, Andi, is chewing one, she will take Bleu's! Poor Bleu, we then reinstate the balance and all is good. She can leap up onto Bill's lap from al the way across the room. Makes it interesting.

Just a few morning thoughts....Iona, I am thinking of you, keep spirits up as best you can.
smiles to all,
carolyn

Liquid sunshine pouring down,
filling buckets all around,
even flowing on the ground,
where you can hear it pound,
a glorious sound.

I just read back, fantastic bear report Scott, beautiful deer. Judi, lovely family.

JuD,
lovely family children. You, Gary & all are blessed to have each other. :)
As far as the video, all I know is to try the frequently asked questions area on the index.

Poem, backyard bird talk, snowy deer, all good.

Hugs NestYas

Cool sighting of the Cooper's hawk Pat. :)
I have no idea when I'll be out looking for eagles.

Nice to hear Bleu is feeling better lately Carolyn. I imagine she's very patient with Andi too. :)

You should be able to upload directly to youtube on your phone or tablet Judi. :)

Good Morning All,

Rain and in the 40's today through Sunday - blah. I usually enjoy watching the rain, but we have had soooo much of it this year, we are well above average and there could be some flooding. But nature always gets her way. Off on Monday for a doctor's visit, and it is supposed to be warmer and sunny, so I will look forward to that.

Thanks Iona for the nest updates.

As always Carolyn, I take great delight in your poem. Thank you for sharing with us.

Tex I will be heading to FL in May to visit my mom and brother, looking forward to it.

Hugs all around, :grhug:

Nest update

Lake Pleasant's Jack and Jill have laid another egg. I hope this one isn't taken by the ravens.

We've had less rain than normal here Pat. :)
This will turn to rain later today apparently.

The ravens are pretty smart but I hope Jack & Jill are able to do a better a better job of protecting this egg Iona. :)

Nest update

Berry College Second bobble did not make it. Could be the combination of, how long it took him to get out of the egg, and the horrible cool, rainy weather, but E 12 is doing great.
