Thank you Judi.....I appreciate your post, makes me feel better. I love the little eagles, so cute.

I am going to try going to nursing home with Andi to do last pet therapy session of the year, but cannot until she dries from our very wet walk this AM, oh my. Maybe even use the blow dryer?

Iona, I love the pups outing.

Happy New Year to all of you....

Iona that was the greatest video of puppies first day out. So fun to watch the variety of actions. :rh:

Dr. Lynn could write a great book on his wildlife window, Scott. :)

I get the impression that Dr. Lynn is having a blast with his wildlife window and learning each day. Isn't that cool? Those animals are actually blessed to have him there.

I am wishing everyone a very Happy New Year 2019.
On the stroke of midnight tomorrow ( if you are still awake  ) lift your left foot and then put it down. That way you will start the New Year on the right foot. :)
If you are not awake at midnight when you get out of bed the morning of the 1st put your right foot down first.

Judi Don't take this the wrong way. but I don't smoke or drink, I just don't understand why a natural plant, that helps with cancer is illegal. Medical CDC is legal in Ohio

Good Morning & Day wishes to all. :)

We have legal CDB here as well, Iona. I went in a shop to check it out. Very interesting stop; so many uses for it. Smelled of weed as they had big canisters of bud displayed. Hard to believe as pretty as they were, they were only medicinal. :)
Crawfordville is a small town with businesses
scattered down the 4 mi. Strip. I bet there are 4 or more places that offer it. One offers CBD products exclusively from smoothies, edibles to oil.

NYC should be interesting this eve. as it will be rainy and warmer than past years, elle. I'm having a hard time remembering the last time I made it up to midnight on NYE.

Wonder if that is also due to metabolism, Scott ? :D

Carolyn, , how was the year's last session visit
with the residence ? I'm sure Andi and you both were a welcome sight. :)

Our last visit at the nursing home TX was fabulous. There was much joy when we came in, and a lot of smiles, especially when faces got "cleaned". I spent a long time there, it was precious. There had been few visits by anyone for a long time so it was super good that we went. I blow dried her and she looks fabulous. I think I will do that again, even when it is not necessary. She was tired after which is a great sign that she was reading minds and helping where needed. :)
Thanks for asking!

PWF, lovely memories you and Andi made today in the name of Love. :thumlft:

We've not gone out today. Planned to run a couple errands but then Mike hit a wrong button on remote and after finally getting internet service connected this a.m., lost sound. :w00t:
Had to do with too many devices added since Christmas and not enough know how. :D
Kase stopped by and figured it out. Told PapaBear, no more pushing buttons. :D

Had a story of his own to tell. Be cautious when elderly neighbor asks for a hand.

Bald Python at her back porch. Evidently they are pets and it got out or was turned out. The local pet store took it in as a foster as it's not likely to survive here. In the Everglades much further south but not here. I have a pic but says file too large to post here. Another invasive species due to the heartless among us. :(

Fireworks are starting here, Z no likey.
Have him in his safe place for comfort.

CBD oil is quite popular here too Naoma. It's next on my list of things to try to help with various aches and pains. :)
Good to hear Kase fixed the "wrong button" problem. I've done that a few times myself. :mihihi:
Also nice of him to help the neighbor with the python and then find a safe place for it. I read they are specifically bred as pets.

Great that you and Andi were able to make so many people happy with yesterday's visit Carolyn. :)

Happy Almost New Year!

Some fireworks here, so far Bleu not a mess, I guess not as bad as Thunder and LIghtning. Thanks for the kind words about the therapy work. Work is a true word for it, however, what you said tx warmed my heart "in the name of love". I love the reactions. One man just pets her and says nothing, then smiles at me. Doesn't that say it all?
Good Night, have a good tomorrow, a New Year. I hope there is hope on the horizon for us all.

Happy New Year yeah your all coming around I've invested in stocks (shares) of 3 companies who grow CBD for infused Cannibis Drinks got in for less than $10 a share and in a year I hope to be a millionaire like Gene Simmons who invested 10 million on just one company out of Naniamo …..its the future for making money and getting rich
Scott and Elle raise a glass of bubbly to Kitsilano Cannibis store opening up on West 4th and MacDonbald Vancouver BC January 2 2019 second legal one in BC :bye 1: :woohoo: close to Vanier Park eagles nest :eag: :hatch:

:cry1: Sad news to end the year with, Washer, a 3 years old SDP service dog, died the morning due to a collection of fluid in heart chest and abdominal area. She was being attended to at Tufts Medical center. They said this is rare. RIP Washer, have fun at the bridge with all that left before you.

Love and hugs to all

It appears to be, that a new male and female are at the NEFL eagle nest. The drama continues. Hope Romeo and Juliet are okay.

Good Morning All, have been entirely to busy enjoying my vacation to get on the computer.

Sorry to hear about Romeo and Juliet, I really liked that couple. Sigh, life can be sad. Also, so sorry to hear about Washer. Saying a little prayer that this year will have less sad moments, and more happy ones for our wildlife friends.

Today it is 63F and overcast, last year on New Years it was 25F. Erik and I got up early had a nice breakfast, then went for a long walk on the local nature trail. There weren't many people and it was quite and peaceful, such a lovely start to the new year. I am so looking forward to this year. We have some lovely vacations planned, and I'm turning 50. What a year it will be.

Usually Erik and I take vacation between Christmas and New Year and just laze around and do puzzles and stuff. But this year in keeping with my getting fit, we decided to be more active. So each day we did something active. A few days we went walking, a few riding our bikes, a few running or the gym, and twice we went indoor rock climbing. There is a indoor rock climbing gym here with 40ft rock walls for climbing with ropes and some shorter "bouldering" walls (you climb without a rope). We did the rope climbing, it was great. I can't believe how much I enjoyed it. We actually joined the gym and will go twice a week at least to do some climbing. It really does give you a whole body work out. The first climb I was a little scared, but once I got used to the rope, it wasn't so bad. The first day I managed 5 climbs but then my arms were too sore and I had to call it a day. One of the five times I actually made it all the way to the top. For now Erik and I still have to do the easy climbs, but we are working on it. The second time we went I did 4 climbs, made it to the top on one, and about 3/4 of the way on the other 3 climbs.

It has been an absolutely wonderful vacation, I hate for it to end. But I can't complain at all. Erik and I had a great time and the kitties got their first Christmas tree and loved it as much as our dear departed Koko had.

May you all have wonderful things happen this New Year, Hugs and Love, :grhug:

Windy one, so good to hear from you & :thumlft: to getting out. :)

Iona & M15 scapes & the fish blankie. :thumlft: I

Scoot, wondering what Dr. Lynn's Wildlife Window saw today to start the new year. :)

I got to see what I think was a Red Shoulder
perched atop a tall bare mossy tree out the back porch view this late afternoon. Tall, tall tree. Perfect perch spot. :luck: It is its winter territory perch spot.

Hug all.

That'd be cool if the hawk is a regular visitor Naoma. :)
I still see the Cooper's hawk here once in a while. If there are no birds around my feeders I've spotted it perched nearby several times.
