Hi everyone. I'm afraid I have sad news to share - I've heard from txelements/Naoma's daughter-in-law Jessica, letting us know that Naoma passed away on Saturday, January 8th, "unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep." :grhug:

She sent me a link to Naoma's obituary - http://www.bevisfh.com/obituaries/Naoma-Irons. Jessica also said how much Naoma loved the Hancock Wildlife Foundation and asked if they could suggest donations in her memory be made to HWF, and I suggested donations towards adopting a camera in her name - and as you can see, that's what the family did in the obituary.

This is the picture the family chose to feature in the obituary - it's public, so I feel comfortable sharing it here:

Rest in peace, Naoma, and fly with the eagles. :brknhrt:

Good Morning Scott and Iona......It's difficult losing a friend, even one you have never met. She was funny and wise at the same time, always managing to say something that set things straight. What I am grateful for is that she had a wonderful life and knew it.

Now I worry about a red fox, I hope the bobcat does not succeed in getting her. But now that the bobcat knows where she is she will relocate maybe?
Good thoughts of friendship and hope......
