Ode to the Beavers

We were not planning on going in so soon,
hopefully we will not be totally marooned,
if so we will certainly swoon.

A beaver's life is a hard one indeed,
we make a dam and den with otters chasing us in,
and ice about to settle to keep us within.

Time will tell when we come out,
and that will probably be when Spring is about to sprout,
to which we will give a huge shout!

Is that egg for M15 and Harriet early?

Carolyn No Harriet always starts at this time. Romeo and Juliet alway started now to , but they are no longer around, their son Samson and his beautiful Gabrieele are now at that nest. No sign of them today, or Nic and Vic of Eagle Country.

Today's scaps

Yes Scott we will be seeing bears next Summer and spending time in Ely after. I guess the thanks indirectly or directly goes to you....for peeking my interest and to Bill loving Ely for canoeing. He thought this would be even more fun and I agree. I am excited to say the least. It will make for a fabulous vacation and a great donation to the Wildlife Research Institute which they deserve.

I did not expect Dr. Rogers to put it in his daily report. :)

Thanks Iona, I am glad for M15 and Harriet, and do know the NE Florida saga, hoping for Samson and his Gabriele too!

Bleu is becoming whiter and whiter......still beautiful.

Got a night capture of either M or Harriette egg sitting :eag: :hatch: :eag:

Yes Naoma Shine and his family are digging up my lawn for grubs and I'm upset....spoiled them on sun flowers from the heads and now they come for protein bummer :w00t: :mihihi: :hlp: my young grass seed was just starting to come up then showed the Starlings in the front yard and the crows going nuts on the Boulevard very wet and soggy and very muddy.

Got a ramp for Einstein and now I have to vinegar and water it to get rid of the crow and seagull droppings

Got a new girlfriend her name is Stella and she's 68 we laugh and carry on and Gary works and going through mid life crisis just turned 60 and our Anniversary is November 21, 2019 ...….19 years married 32 together

That is so cool you and Bill will get to see some of the bears and people we've "met" thanks to the NABC and WRI Carolyn. I'm already looking forward to seeing some pics and hearing your stories. :)

 Naoma & Judi

I think the bear update was given live on their special fundraiser broadcast. Hopefully it will be online later.
