Good morning all.

What a great bear story, Scott. Thankfully with a happy ending. :)

Hugs & good day wishes, friends. :bye 1:

Tractor practice at Ferrel this afternoon. Colin was the teach.

Mike did good and learned a lot. I may work up the nerve to try in the future. Lucky for me, rain moved in before my turn. :)

Z & I got in a nice walk. :thumlft:

I didn't take any pics on my walk thru the woods, but guess what I did do every so often ?
Say, hey bear it's us.
:D
I did not want Z to startle a bear.

Good Evening All....I hope you had a good day!

TX, I cannot help but believe that this move to Florida was a good one for you in so many ways. New adventures, new experiences, family, fun and joy in abundance.

Those people did a great job freeing the bucket from the young bear Naoma. It couldn't have turned out better. :)
Smart move making your presence known to any bears in your area. Avoiding dog/bear confrontations is best for all involved.
Nice pics of Mike & Colin. You'll do fine if you decide to learn on the tractor. All sorts of things will be a lot easier to move around if you feel so inclined. :D

Oh you and Scott got my brain poem rolling again, tx.....

A tractor, a factor, another thing to roll,
pick it up and move it or roll over it instead.

A bear in my snare, oh no, just say "it's us"...
they go, they show, they don't mind "us" at all.....

Fishing, is this wishing, diving in the water,
find the fish, find the ducks, find the sunset then.

Sleep tight, exhausted at night,
new life in Florida is FUN!
best I run (before you tell me to shut my mouth sprouts)

I'll likely try the tractor at some point,SCOTT. After all I do have some experience sitting on them as a child.
:)

Carolyn, :D at your cleaver poem.

Thx for the support. Altho I do have occasional seperation pangs missing Texas.
:)

Im not at all use to having highs in the 70's inbetween cold fronts. At the end of December no less! One thing for sure, I'm the opposite of a "snow bird". I feel the urge to migrate north.
:D

It's odd I was able to post those last 2 pics but others I've taken with same phone says "file too large". I wonder if it has to do with zooming in for the shot. We'll see.

Good day wishes NestYas :bye 1:

I know what you mean TX and thanks Scott! I often miss the true cold and snow, yet....then I remember driving in it, not as much fun as viewing it.

The car is a sled, not a car instead,
the tires goes which way and not,
sliding down the hill, instead of driving.

Got down that one, oh no, another ahead,
that one I will dread, maybe I'll go home instead....and walk,
oh no, it's ice on the path, slipping and sliding....North is tricky.

Then there is black ice, not good for cars,
not good for feet, not good for power poles,
actually not good at all....maybe South is not so bad.

So sad about that female eagle eating the baby bobble from Romeo....sad day from that Forida nest :cry1: :brknhrt: :hatch: :eag: :shame:

Harriette's and M15's for Carolyn but I call him my hunka hunka M only as I've been following this nest since M got rid of Ozzie as Harriette kicked Ozzie out of her nest for M and as I never followed Ozzie and Harriette just strong willed Harriette who rules the nest and M...……. my young eagle stud M

Harriette and M are strong and hatched 2 new bobbles this season yeah :eag: :hatch: :hatch: :eag:
