It's fun watching the baby birds always begging to be fed by the adults Carolyn. The only ones here regularly are sparrows, finches, and crows but they all have their little quirks in parenting methods. :)
Unfortunately I've still only seen the one squirrel dropping by for seeds.
I was happy to read Cinnamon and cubs were being helped with more food too.

Thanks for the Randoms feeding vid Iona. Nice to see May was able to get in on the action. :)

Scott, I am sorry to hear about your squirrels not appearing. People can be cruel. The baby cardinal was doing really well at our feeders so I guess just beyond parent feeding....it's cute how plump it is. I have looked on occasion and hope to see him or her again. I love the chickadees, finches, wrens, etc.
Happy Sunday all....

another abysmally hot day here. (Nice to hear that Dr. Lynn has a more full bear course this week). I worry about the bears being so "present" with the coming September hunting. To say the least I dislike it.

We're of the same mind when it comes to the bear hunt Carolyn.
I'm not too happy with the heat here today. We set a rec for the day of just over 96 F but it will be short lived. :)

We can only hope that the hunters use some respect and do not overkill just because they can.

Judi.....Happy Birthday to Billy. Why are there no adoptable dogs in Canada? It seems strange.

As for Newfoundland and Labrador...they are banning outsiders to keep coronavirus free or so I read just a bit ago (not sure when). Smart move!

Americans can not go to Canada for that reason and we stay put as it is safer in the long run.

Hi All....Glad the dogs are good Iona. Did I mention the pups who are big now that live somewhat near me, two Great Danes, brothers whom are named Jake and Elwood as in the Blues Brothers (they are both blue merle clever names).

We Are Having Issues with the Forum

People who are signed in can post - but those who aren't logged in are getting error messages when they try to sign in.

It is not you or your internet provider - it's a forum issue.

Our tech person is working on this. We will probably have to bring the forum offline at least once as he's resetting things - and worst case scenario, we may need to revert to a backup that's 24-48 hours old, losing our posts for the last day or two. We hope it won't come to that, but if the server crash that took the forum down briefly yesterday damaged files, that may be necessary.

I haven't posted there yet - but if I get locked out or the forum goes down, I'll be posting updates on our backup forum - http://www.wildlifecamwatch.com/index.php under Welcome & HWF Updates and will also post updates on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Hancock-Wildli ... =bookmarks

Please let other folks know - I woke up to a lot of emails and won't get back to everyone right away. Thanks!

Thanks, Judi - I was just coming to post an update -

We Are Back!

We think people should now be able to log in again. If anyone is still having trouble, please let me know - [email protected] (or my personal email if you have it)
