I was watching DC Cam hoping to see an egg, or TFL working on the nest.

What I saw is sure not an egg !!! :tt: :banghead:
Yes I am that angry ! It's a darn plastic bag.
Pascale, I don’t like seeing plastic bags left around and certainly not in an eagle’s nest. But I read on the DC event log that Mr.P brought TFL a “ store- bought” fish in a plastic bag and she ever so carefully pulled her fish out and ate her fill. She then left the remained for Mr.P and I guess he forgot to put the bag in the trash can😂😂

I hope that the bad weather stops soon. I’ll be visiting DC in two weeks for 5 days. Does anyone know if it is possible to visit the nest there? I wonder how that plastic bag got in there

Oh yes Pascale I meant to say fledge. As they have branched for a while now. Everything seems easy and seamless for these 2 making great advances.

Nestfriend I think I visited the Arboretum with my sister when I used to live across the Potomac in Virginia. Call the arboretum and ask them how to safely see these magnificent eagles. Wow lots to see in DC. I liked visiting George Washington's house. Or wow are cherry blossoms coming or done there can't remember. I always took the George Washington Parkway to work a scenic route in a busy area. Robert E. Lee's southern mansion in Arlington cemetary. Museums, the hope diamond. Hope it is beautiful weather for you there. Been a while since I lived there. Is difficult alway to see it all when a person travels anywhere. Organization. Especially in a different country.

 :ty: Eagleslanding, I will give them a call. I’ve been to DC, but like you said, there is so much to see. I’m hoping to see the cherry blossoms in bloom, if the wind haven’t knock the buds out of the trees

Just a little look to DH4 and the PIP Watch of the future DH5 ?
I will be a miracle cause Eggs were let so many time (for hours and even a total night) alone and under the rain the last two weeks cause of intruders in the area. But i hope they were protected by the DH3 Spirit whos was able to take car of her new younger siblings..
Thanks to stephaniemhood and IrishEyes for the pics

I’m sorry but I really worry for DH5 if s/he hatches 3-4 days after DH4....
Bad memories from last season even if of course I wish they both are ok for sure...
Ok DH5 hatched today. Congratulations River and Obey ! DH4 be nice to him. Please.

Rainna, one final thing. google life extension. new treatment out of europe not yet approved. Ok i am finished.
This years swfl nest has such a different tone than last years. These eaglets are big. But seems so much less drama than last year. Gosh if we had a different set of kids every year we'd go crazy.

Ok so I am not finished. All these storms moving across the US.
Just finished with one and another one is one us. Blizzards across the plains and all the storms moving east. The northeast getting hit by another big storm. I as of yet not
removed a big branch that fell inches from my house a few days ago from the last storm. So close to spring yet so far away. Any more winds here from this storm is not welcome.

I am sorry for that eagleslanding... climate becomes completely crazy.
Praying for people facing these huge storms and for wildlife !
I saw that the plastic bag has been removed from DC nest ! Well done whoever did it.
We are already on a fledge watch for E10 and soon E11. E10 is 10 weeks old !

They are doing so great, beautiful, strong, kind to each other. It won’t be long as we can see them spread their wings higher and higher. We wait for them to go to another branch, attic, porch...

Happy 10’weeks old e10 ! :cake: :cake:

Oh noooo I forgot 14 months birthday for E9 !! I’m sorry baby. :oops2:
Philippe you should have reminded me lol !
