:cry1: :cryhanky:
so sad, ...
19h30 was the last breath of life with the last movement then after that DH16 remained inert... :brknhrt: :cry1:

DH16 suffered enought. DH16 unzipped his feathered clothes and his soul fly directly to the Heavens where he was welcome by DH3, DH4 and DH9 his older siblings who warmed him with their love, cared for him with their tenderness, nourished and comforted him with their passion for all the eaglets born in their family nest. Now they will be all 4 stronger to protect these 2 siblings DH14, DH15 who survive and the following ones to come the next years

Dale Hollow
River burried her youngest chick in nest material on Saturday :brknhrt:

after a few days of fear it looks like DH15 finally got fed correctly... it's just very very scary and sad on this nest lately :cry1:

On a bright side it was an action packed day at SWFL with e19 fledging, she had to fly on church tree because of bad behaviour from people on ground. in the meantime e20 dropped on a lower branch of nest tree, succeeded in hoping back to the nest by the end of the afternoon... soon joined by e19 !

the problem was that all cams were down... but thanks to ground photographers wskrsnwings and Marie doing Facebook lives we were able to follow the action.

to end the day M15 brought a fish for celebration :rh: congratulations e19 and e20 - not a fledgling yet but he showed up he was more than ready. it was amazing to see and hear him cheering and calling e19 !

National Arboretum

UPDATE

I'm so sorry... DC8 was very weak and this morning he is hardly moving... it seems he didn't consume the yolk. this is so sad :brknhrt: :cry1:
_--------
DC8 hatched yesterday. During the hatch process one parent's talon punctured the egg and we saw blood spilling from the egg. we feared the worst. little one had a hard time getting out of the shell but here s/he is !
