Hello, everyone

Sorry I have been missing for awhile. I read through quite a few pages to try to catch up. The falcon chicks are so adorable. I hope SE 23 and 24 do well as they learn to maneuver around.

Great cameras at SWFEC this season. Great to see H and M fixing up the nest, but I sure wish those nasty GHO's would go far away.

E9 came to visit! Wow - isn't that wonderful. I thought it was him when I saw the first photos. Donna Lucero's comparison photos seals the deal; thanks for sharing, Nestfriend.

though I'm glad SE24 is spotted doing so well, now I worry for SE23 :dunno: where is this little one... ?

in Orange falcons babies have been named : Gaia - probably female #1 - and Pluto for little #2. the theme for the naming was the planets. do I dare saying I don't like Pluto at all. god of hell in Roman mythology :( and Mickey dog. A little falcon is not a pet... bad choice as far as I'm concerned.

This afternoon we were so happy to see baron and baroness home after weeks of them being away...

until we realise that the female on nest WAS NOT baroness. but a young one. she still has brown eyes...

we're devastated. streambird will look after baroness. or maybe she'll be back to try to take over the nest again but I doubt it !

baron and new female spend the night on nest tree.
