Hi Pascale, Sunnybird and Bev!
at Great Spirit Bluff Falcons - Cliff View La Crescent, Minnesota, USA
some worries about the absence of Chance who has not been seen for almost a week when she has only been flying for 22 days. Her parents, Newman and Zooee are still in sight in the area.

Chance - the Raptor fledged flawlessly at 8:23 AM CDT this morning! We knew fledge was right around the corner since Chance reached several milestones over the past few days: hopping to the outer porch (https://youtu.be/LOrdyGYLbTw), exploring the branch perch on the left side of the box (https://youtu.be/h-ZLqylwpDM), flying to the top of the nestbox (https://youtu.be/B0FE67Lwx9E), and flying back down to the nestbox perch (https://youtu.be/3U9dewbwOXI).

Re: The Wildlife Corner
And here are more of DN13 & DN14
This is a nite shot. In real time you could see 3 pair of eagle eyes reflecting out of the woods.
It was really neat to see.
2 juveniles and 1 adult eagle.
Double-click for a better view, 2nd juvie is close to adult.

Bonjour Philjo & Pascale
Good Thursday morning everyone.
From the Decorah North Cam
Is this an Osprey?
I could see a dark stripe around the eye/head.
08:30 nest cam time. You can hear E13 or E14? squeeeing

Re: The Wildlife Corner
Merci Philjo for the Osprey ID.
And of course for the "fish fight" DN14 had with Dad over the fish.
I just read where Decorah and Decorah North cams will be closed for maintenance on August 15th.
Look for chats on 15th.
