Merci Philippe for posting pictures and of course, the links to Pascale’s videos. As I told her, I think her accent is adorable :)

Pascale, I think you should become an “eagle journalist and videographer” and move to Ft. Myers :D

Thanks, Phil, for posting Pascale's photos and videos of the area around the nest. I feel like I've been there, too. How wonderful for you to have this time in Florida, Pascale!

I'm eggcited - a first hatch tonight of 3 eggs at Fort St Vrain nest. Here is the short video showing the fuzzy one out of the egg:

The FSV Nest is in Platteville, CO, only about an hour from where I live.

just mean people Nestfriend! :brknhrt:

we have a kind of situation at new arboretum nest - former DC eagles nest with a new female. I don't know for how long the first lady is missing but a new female has shown up and is helping Mr P...

I hope TFL will be back soon. Furthermore there's still no egg

Phil - yes, that was a terrible tragedy at FSV. I well remember that morning when I turned on my computer; I and all who watch that nest were heartbroken. Hopefully this season will be a good one. You never know in Colorado; we can get a bad spring snowstorm in April, even May. Now the 2nd appeared today, just 14 hours after the first!

Pascale, I didn't realize that TFL hasn't been seen at the DC nest; how long has she been gone? Was there a fight/intruder situation? I sure hope she comes back; I love TFL and Mr. P.

Glad that Poppa Owl seems to be doing okay.

Thanks, Pascale. Yes, I heard that TFL came flying in fast and furious, and the beautiful visitor skedaddled. Yup, we want eggs soon, please!

Here's an article and short video about an osprey nest about an hour from where I live. The female has returned and is awaiting her male partner's return, which should be any day. Usually the female returns later, but last year another female made herself at home, and the resident female had to chase her off. That might have something to do with her early return this year - LOL!
