no one could see little Decorah north N10... only DN9 is fed today
DNF is a young mom.
Well DN10 lays down in the nest bowl :cry1: :cry1:
later dad pulled little one body out of the nest.
RIP little DNN10. I'm sure DN6, DN7 and DN8 showed you the way to the Rainbow bridge

other news... bad and good.
in AZGFD nest - nest in Arizona, local nest from lady hawk, the season was tough... the pair had 3 eggs eaten by crows and ravens. this pair is very young and they left the egg alone for a while...
Jill laid one more egg which was more carefully incubated. s/he tried to hatch last night but unfortunately the chick died trying to hatch :brknhrt:

Jill consumed part of the dead chick and the egg shortly after :(

- sorry

the good news... at 2 harbours Catalina islands 1st egg hatched today :rh: the 2nd egg has a nice pip.

here is a scap from Lady Hawk, thanks to her.

Sorry to hear about the AZ nest; they sure have had troubles this season.

Thanks for the news on Decorah, Bonnie. Will we see a babe in the morning, or will he/she make us wait a bit longer? Wishing Super Mom and DM2 a wonderful season.

the 2nd chick at 2 Harbour nest just hatched :rh
FB_IMG_1554389610598.jpg
and I've read this article... I'm not sure it's a good thing, eagles adapt to their shrinked territory... its dangerous for them.

Local Illinois Eagle Update:
I checked my photos from the last 2 years.
Mere & Pere had bobbleheads on April 15, 2017.
Last year, 2018, I had video of Mere & Pere feeding on April 5, 2018.
Looking forward to seeing nest activity in a few days?

Sorry to hear about the original Pappa. Hopefully the new Pappa will be well and stick around that area.

Desiree's photos of the 2 kids at sunset is just stunning. Thanks for sharing, Pascale, and thank you, Desiree.
