Yesterday evening, inside the Junior and Malala's nest
(Malala and adults eagle was heard yesterday early morning (05h21)
from GROWLS Eagle Nest Cam (Gabriola Rescue Of Wildlife Society)

is this a sign of Junior? Rest in peace my friend, Malala the hawklet's beloved sibling and Mom and Dad's beloved eaglet.

If you missed it the first time, this is the Youtube video of ND17 Release

The release is very similar to the one I got to watch in IL on Oct 4, 2021.
Notice how she walks very far away from the cage after she opens the door. :thumlft:
The eagle turns after taking flight also. In both releases the eagle did NOT fly in a straight line.
Exhilarating to watch.
Still looking for E9 :rh: October 12, 2019
