I read that the middle eaglet in Redding, Glory, fledged too (this reminds me a lot of things !). There was many worries about the lack of food brought to the nest, maybe this urged the last young one to fly :oops2:
I'm so glad that Namejs and Grincs, the Lesser Spotted Eagles, have a new sibling. The little one is 3 days old and is a strong one (and I'm also very happy that there's no sibling as siblicide is systematic on these nests !).
Congratulations to Andris and Anna, the happy parents !

Beautiful fledge from DN13 I’m sure DN14 will follow today’s. It’s been a wonderful season for mom and dad DNF and 2 gorgeous eaglets !

We have had a terrible morning 4 days ago in France; we had 5 beautiful young kestrels who were all thriving when on Thursday morning a weasel attacked them...
i know philjo made a post on in memoriam.

All the family were at the opposite side of the field watching each others. DNF and Dad <--watching---> DN13 and DN14

Thanks Judy.. , I watch and posted there all day .I left at 4:30pm nest time ..6:30pm my time to get dinner and DN14 fledged at 5:05pm nest time.,,7:05pm my time.... I am so excited for DN14 :D
