Philjo, I thought eagles like that could be held to be “ambassadors “ and cared for in captivity? But maybe it’s not possible in this case? Very sad
Best wishes,

Peggy :)

You know Peggy :huggie: , you are certainly right, but in so many cases in my mind it seems to be too easy to euthanised animals. Two time in les than two months they said they did it because the eagle, this upper one and very earlier a sea eagle one too, they couldn't be returned to the wild. It is not a reason to kill. I remember so many birds like Bailey who have a perfect life on a Florida center and she can't to return to the wild. Let them live if they don't suffer that's just what I'm asking but we're never told about suffering we only say one thing, they can't go back to the wild, so they have to die.. No one is God to decide so according to his good will. :luck:

I agree with you, Philjo. It’s so complicated! I am going to share an article I read this morning. I hope you can access it. About legal rights for animals.

Merci Peggy, i got it :huggie:

It was difficult as they ask me to pay for reading
I was just lucky as i hit the translate button and then i received it in french
But not so agree with her ideas our thoughts.... Protecting the wild life against human ok
but to protect it against the predators, No !
Like i said earlier we are not God and will never be
