I'm sorry to post this but I worry a lot about SWFEC. clearly there's a food issue. and only one chick ! maybe it's because of Yonder pond construction. maybe M having issues. maybe something else. for me there is not enough food brought. currently e14 is calling - alone on nest. he must be very hungry. harriet is on attic. m hopefully is fishing or hunting.
I'm just getting overwhelmed by this. and I'm :cry1:

Philjo, that was so funny with E14 preening and then taking a tumble. She looked like an embarassed eaglet. I couldn't open the video link you posted; not sure if this is the same one by Deeagle55...

Pascale, I know we do worry about the eagle parents and nests and babies that we love so much, but I do trust in Harriet and M15. I think they are one of the best sets of eagle parents out there. Look how often you see photos of E14 with a big crop. Harriet is a proficient hunter as well; she brought in one of the big fish today. M15 has proven himself as a great provider for his family. I think sweet 'lil E14 will be just fine.

Pascale, you just have a BIG heart. Sometimes it is hard to watch Mother Nature, but most of the time it is just joyful. :rh:

I wrote this down yesterday. just before Harriet half-buried the egg :cry1: / SWFEC

I'm sorry it's sad

I wrote this. sorry it's sad... it just had to get out.

I don't know what happened...
We were together growing in our shell
Separated, but together !
I felt you, strong and clever
I loved you from all my heart.
I don't know what happened
You got out and I couldn't
I'm stuck here and you are free
I know you are happy
I feel how our parents love you
And I feel how our parents love me too
I feel their sadness and I feel their hope
I feel their regret and I feel their pride
I feel your love when you hug me
When you sleep or when you play
I hear you say "why didn't you join me"
I wish I could but... I couldn't
You e14, so beautiful and so smart
Live happily, out there in the big wild
Grow, live, love, thrive and enjoy your life
but bring with you a bit of myself
The sweet memories we shared for a few weeks
Live your life for two, for me and you...
be safe and be careful..

I love you

Anuli's Mom - I hope it's an egg tomorrow for Sam & Gabby; that would be wonderful. Congratulations on winning all of those great prizes from SWFEC!

Pascale, Merci, my friend, thank you for writing that beautiful letter from Egg2 to their sibling E14. Your words were so touching and moving. Just the photo alone brings tears to my eyes, and the letter makes me feel very emotional. Thank you for sharing your special gift of being able to express emotion so beautifully in words. :rh:
