Sorry for that, Yesterday evening older Hog Island chick attacked the younger...according to Lady Hawk
I almost didn't dare looking earlier today, but little one was trying to self feed. Not getting much though :cry1:
It doesn't look good, Rachel is not 100% healed, not at all... Steve feeds a little... and big sis' might get after little one
If Rachel has a broken leg, which is likely, they will have to intervine at some point. I hope they do this sooner than later. I did not know about the sibling attack :cry1: Terrible!

That is good news about D32 :rh:
thanks to mannys and light it looks like GHO is leaving the family alone but we have this now to worry about.

Annuli's mon thanks for the video... we have even better news : the 3rd sister was released yesterday too with her siblings !

Good Saturday, Friends

I was so sad to hear about sweet little Tuffy. Just wish he had stayed in the nest a bit longer until his wings were more ready. Another hawklet who brought joy to our hearts, surviving in the eagle nest against the odds, providing inspiration and delight. Condolences to all who are hurting.

I hope Rachel's leg can heal up quickly, and that her two babies can get enough to eat. Come on, Steve - you can do it!

Wonderful news to hear that all 3 peregrine falcons are re-united. Thanks to those who posted the videos.

Great video, Pascale, of our Smola kids; Melle didn't like being landed on, that's for sure. Eagle squeels - music to our ears, right?

Good news on D32; a step forward in their recovery.

Melle the youngest eaglet took his maiden flight at 4:50am, he is 81 days old. can you believe he didn't wait for me ?

that was a beautiful one. Melle didn't branch before.
