:hooray:
Happy 4th of July to everyone.
Isn't it wonderful that our Bald Eagle is our national symbol of Freedom?
Merci to our friends from France. Viva Lafayette!

It is good to see an Eagle at the Mississippi River Flyway cam this morning.

https://soarraptors.org/patients/

DN9-D33
1 July 2019
The nursery eaglets have discovered the kiddie wading pool and are bathing.

D32
1 July 2019
D32 is still behaving like he is in the nest. He has made no indication of wanting out of crate. Now that D32 has progressed to eating cut-up food on own. The crate and bedding is cleaned frequently.

They should have installed lights and manny on hatch day :tt:
2019-07-03_08h19_48.jpg and the spotlight is on tonight, i didn't see manny but Rachel is still awake beside her two guys2019-07-03_08h26_36.jpg2019-07-03_08h29_36.jpg
:ty: Phil for the great news about the lights. Hopefully they will have Manny there soon...I believe there will be 3 in total and will change positions to make them more believable to the owl.

Any one near the earthquake area of ridgecrest ca. So sorry for the problems you may be encountering. But I am sure many nearby communities are helping with water shortages and restoring power and road issues and even a place to stay. I used to live in california and on a Sunday it was fun to drive all over california. I even was in or driving through nearby barstow ca. Where julie roberts filmed her famous movie. It is very dry there with towns so small they are just a crossroad. Small communities making up a larger friendly america. Most people think of movies and hollywood when thinking of ca. But I think of much farmland and lots of neat driving. Of course when I lived there Iived 9 miles from the ocean. And loved horseback riding on the beach. And the seals and whales and sealife of the ocean. My thought are with you in beautiful ca. At a time of duress.
