 Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday!
We have been enjoying sunny skies and warmer temperatures here in NE Ohio.
My eagles have not laid any eggs yet, but Mama is staying close to the nest tree.
We have had some really pretty skies at the pasture with interesting clouds even at night.

Glad we don't have to deal with snow like the Big Bear Nest with Jackie and Shadow.
Jackie is incubating THREE eggs! This Lady Hawk video is amazing to watch.

 Hello everyone. Happy Thursday.

Sue, thanks for Wednesday's cloud camels.. Mums the word. :mihihi: . Great concept. What will next week bring ?

LazyParrot, I think you missed a two humped camel. Keep looking. :D

Sunnybird, I'm glad you got to see your Mere and Pere. Getting to be that time of year soon. :hatch:
Your volunteer job sounds really fun and exciting !

Hello Carol, Peggy and Josh, anyone else peeking in.

OK I'm going to tell you all to go fly a kite !! :windy:
Today is...
NATIONAL KITE FLYING DAY ! :mihihi:
Kites date back to China, in 470 B.C. China is full of lore and histories of the origins of the kite. Many are related to the way wind affects the leaves on the trees. Blowing at the sails on their ships, and the hats they wore upon their heads. The stories also tell of kites invented to spy on their enemies or to send messages.

I would have missed the Cloud Camel too LazyParrot

But I didn't miss the Eagle I saw today at 1:31 p.m. :thumlft:
It was a dreary tiresome day, so I went to the lake that is closer to my home--only 10 min.
The wind picked up and I thought it wasn't a good idea to stay in the woods so I headed out.
On the drive thru the access road I saw a large bird in a tree---thought it was a hawk.
It was a "hawk" with a white head & tail! :w00t:
Now I know what tree they like to use.
Nope, no camera  , but I did have my good binoculars.

Hey, Lovinnature it was good to read your post.. :D

For the 20th year, the Puppy Bowl is back, hosting a record-breaking 131 dogs from 73 shelters across the country battle for the Lombarky Trophy. Six pups with special needs will also be competing this year.
The three-hour matchup airs hours before the Super Bowl and aims to raise awareness about adopting pets from shelters and rescuing abandoned animals.
Puppy Bowl XX will be conducted by referee Dan Schachner, who has judged the contest for the last 13 years. Last year, Schachner told The Post that the bowl game has a 100% adoption rate every year. :rh:

Wearing blue bandanas is Team Fluff and wearing the orange bandanas are Team Ruff.
At half time Team Ruff is winning 31 to Team Fluff at 28.
The Kitty Half time show is showing now.

Mr. Bean representing Florida is on Team Ruff. Mr. Bean was born with only two hind legs.
Mr. Bean scored a field goal in the second quarter. Mr. Bean has already found a
