Good morning everyone ! Happy Monday !
Since it was quiet at the SWFEC nest last night. I had time to check on the Arouras.
Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights. Churchill, Manitoba, Canada
It was green most of the night. You could tell the green color was moving behind the clouds. But that's about it.

The clouds did clear on and off through the night, but would come back. Then after 2:30 am Lady A did her magic.

Then this swirling ribbon danced across the sky, from left to right.

The lights only lasted about a half hour and were all gone.

National French Toast Day . (I add cinnamon and vanilla to mine). Fruit toppings anyone ?

Lovinnature. Oh Yuuum. I love anything that has vanilla extract in it. And some good freshly made chunky applesauce on top of french toast is especially good (so are cooked blueberries). Going to have to order some vanilla beans and make some vanilla extract---it has gotten absurdly expensive in the grocery store. Only problem is that one must let the vanilla beans soak in vodka for several months---the longer the better.

So maybe that's my problem. Did not let it soak long enough. I didn't do several months.
I also like to put vanilla bean that's left in my sugar. To make vanilla sugar.

Then zoomie found this.
I'm confused.
It looks too big to be the Waxing Crescent Moon. (33 % illuminated) ? Or not ?
It maybe Jupiter ? Or It could be Mars ? They both are up in the sky tonight.
Jupiter is in the SW, and will set at 1:30 am.
Mars is in the East, and won't set until 8:19 am.
So without knowing which way the camera is facing it's a toss up ??

The more I look, it may just be the Moon. It's kind of a crescent ?
This camera makes things in the sky look way larger than, view with the naked eye.

Good morning LP,
I don't get to see many sunsets as I am in a building working at night. Summer sunsets can be pretty. But I don't recall ever seeing those kind of colors here.
