Hello Friends,

I was reading & realized it'd been 2 weeks plus since I chimmed in.

I was saddened to read of Nanny Pam passing, Iona. I know she lefr a big empty spot in the SDP family. :rh:
I also read of Annie's megesophagus diagnosis and about the amazing Baily Chair. Colin's dog Nottie was born with a similiar issue. She had surgery for it at A&M veteranary college and recovered nicely but on occasion still had trouble if she ate too fast. And then to read of Tillie outgrowing her affliction gives hope. Hope is the only thing that can't be taken from us.
Reading that last sentence made me think of Hope bear & miss her.

Judi, Freckles is a great name & she looks delightful. She'll be blessed to have you as her girl & :luck: for your application.
Z's doing all the good at 13. He still has allergy issues, sometimes stronger than others but we adjust his apoquil accordingly. His hip joints look stiff when he sits or lays down & I sure can relate to stiff joints myself. Cosequin for that.

I love having an observable bird nest Carolyn. Wrens are great fun to watch & their songs are amazingly strong to come from such a small bird. :) Mine is the Carolina wren.
Granddaughter getting married???? Oh my, what a milestone. :)
I think Andi was communing with Bleu & Bleu also sending you a message. :)
There is a wolfdog santuary here as well.

Scott it is very sad to read of a cub getting hit by a car. That experience for Dr. Lynn was quite a surprise. He was caught off guard but once again learned something new that will better help future bears.
The chickadee family close up, what fun. Speaking of your Mother, how is she?

We've had dry weather at my house for more than a month. Usually we have the afternoon seabreeze showers on a daily basis. Not this year. The humidity has been way down tho. The wonderful sea breeze showers normally keep the humidity high so we're avoiding that. Humidity & 95 deg, are :faint:.

I hope I didn't miss or leave anything out. I've enjoyed reading from all of you.
Hugs.

There was a hatch (or more) in the wren's nest. I suspect possibly it is a Carolina Wren from the sound, could be wrong.
Getting roofing Tuesday, they will have to be careful around them! Coming in the back door the chick looked right at me. :)

Cool your Wren's eggs are starting to hatch Carolyn. :)

 Iona

Funny (and annoying) events here last evening as I was trying to get to sleep. Something seemed to be digging at the outside wall of my home. The walls are stucco so that didn't make much sense to me. I checked the car port but nothing there so went back to bed. A few minutes later it starts again and I can't sleep. Took flashlight with me and checked the wall above the car port roof. The furnace vent is there so I figure a squirrel is trying to get in. No culprits seen so back to bed. A few minutes later the scratching starts up again. This went on the entire night so I had no sleep. When it was light enough I took my camera with me to get a closer view and patiently waited. After a few minutes a black squirrel exists from the vent and one of the grey ones pokes it's nose out. :mihihi:
I enjoy watching the squirrels play in the yard but having them in the attic is not a good thing. It took a while to make sure as best I could that both were outside then put a metal screen over the vent entrance to keep them out. I'll keep checking to make sure none are trapped inside. I really need a good night's sleep so I hope it'll be quiet tonight. :)

:grhug: dear EA friends

Hi Naoma and yes I mentioned a Wolfdog Sanctuary as it is new to Texas through Pitbulls and Parolees maybe not maybe it was a few months back but its Animal Planet.com/Pitbull's and parolees

So far Naoma I haven't heard lately just that e mail saying they will let me know whats happening due to the borders are still closed between Washington State and British Columbia Canada due to the COVID-19

And I won't be completely safe until I get my second vaccine on June 27 and then two weeks to be really safe as I am compromised with my COPD a lung disease, but they say the new Delta variant is not the Lungs but a headache and a bad stomach ache, so I wait :luck:

Hi to the rest of the nest see you when I update my windows 10 er 12 laptop computer updated and secure :bye 1:
