MONDAY TUCK-IN: I was parked at the nest hoping Gabby would return while Beau was incubating. He later flew over me. It wasn't in the ET or LY direction. It appeared his flight was directed farther. I did, however, ck the ET and LY, but nada. I'm glad Gabby flew in soon after I left. I hope Beau is in a sheltered place. Wind gusts in the mid-upper 20's. Man alive they are resilient! SED everyone!

Goooood morning Hamlet! Both Gabrielle and Beau home this morning at 8:00. Beau was on LOP and Gabby on her egg. Beau left at 8:07 and came right back with the branchiest branch I have ever seen! The way he was swinging that branch trying to maneuver it where he needed! Gabby wanting to get clear of the work zone left at 8:09. Beau continued for quite some time trying to break off all the branches that were on the main branch. Finally tired out, Beau leaves at 8:41. Gabby returned at 8:47 and went right to her egg. Its been so windy, she barely lifts up off the nest to change and shift positions. Stay tuned!

TUESDAY TUCK-IN: It was another windy day in the Hamlet today with gusts 💨 close to 50 mph. Beau spent considerable time at the nest perched, incubating or just laying next to the egg. Was he protecting it? So many questions! Considering the egg will not hatch, it's still a treat seeing our Hamlets at the nest each day. Gabby is busy 💤 and incubating . I tucked Beau at the ET about 6:30 tonight. SED everyone and remember chat in the morning at 9am!

SATURDAY TUCK-IN: Beau has really gotten into incubating mastering the shimmy, great egg roll and even giving Gabby a blatant hint he wants ON (see sharipf_AEF's video above at 10:10am) 😂 He's sure spending more time at the nest too. I thought he was going to roost at home tonight, but he flew in the ET direction at 6:27. I couldn't locate him at the ET or LY. I think he's found a roosting tree deep in the trees behind the ET or near there. At that time of night, as it's getting dark, I can't see the forest thru the trees 👀 😁 as I'm driving. I believe he's very close by tho. SED everyone and pls join us for Sunday Funday chat at 5pm EST before the Super Bowl!
