Berry College 2023-2024 Nest Thread

I had a meeting late this afternoon, then dinner. The cam did a reset at 8:30pm before I could grab more s’caps. Mom is brroding B17 now; it's very windy at the nest. I read back thru chat and really no change. Mom and Dad have both been on the nest,no feedings, B17 has tried to get to parents, maybe for food but more likely warmth. Very weak ….probably to weak now to swallow properly. So sad.
Most seem to think B17 was small for their developmental stage even though it was well fed and eating well.. Consensus maybe, failure to thrive.

Bonjour Marianne,
I checked the last four hours of the video this late nite and early morning.

Mom Missy stood most of the time just above our little one but at a moment she opened a little window

there were no entire body of B17 insight but around 60-80% of it. There was no movement during a little more of half an hour
May be its soul flew already away

I'm so sad and sorry

Now B17's body is alone under the rain but this is only an empty body, its soul is already Far away among its big Family and all the stars

Around 08h00 Missy brought it to the right side of the nest and beagn to consume her/our beloved B17. Now we are sure a part of it will fly forever with its Mom
