Dad moves to the pantry; eats some fish
feeds B17 a big piece that B has trouble swallowing but won't give it back to Dad; finally gets it down. B17 doesn't seem very hungry but Dad keeps feeding a few big pieces that B17 eats

I had to go pick up my granddaughter and watch her until her parents got home from the hospital. My grandson cut his finger pretty bad and urgent care wouldn't stitch it so they had to go to Children's Hospital; all's good, no stitches; they layered it with a mesh which is better than stitches and no pain.

Anyway, all's good at the nest; Mom brooding B17 and keeping him/her warm and dry.

Stay safe Mom, Dad, B17, everyone. Hope the bad wether misses you. We are suppose to get hurricane force winds in the morning.

I'm sorry I haven't logged in and reported today. It appears that B17 is not well and in distress. He/she has been very sluggish today, not eating, agonal breathing (heavy breathing, not enough oxygen, gasping for air). Mom and Dad have tried to feed a couple of times but B17 is too weak to eat more than a couple of bites before going back to sleep. Parents have covered him/her with fluff several times and B17 has managed to work it's way out. Berry College has been notified but has not commented. It is purely speculation and guessing today what could be wrong with B17....from bad food, wet nesting material, failure to thrive, We just don't know and will never know. Please pray for this little one.
I'll post s'caps and my notes later. As of now, B17 is beside Mom, just came out from under the fluff that Mom keeps putting on him/her.
