Last night at 9:57, we had a visiting Coyote family making their presence known. Like eagles, and unlike wolves, Coyotes are monogamous. Families form around a reproducing females. Their territory intersects the Little family’s. Here’s a video where you can hear the raucus. The Es heard but didn’t mind.

At 5:25:39 Little 3 branched!!!!! Good job!!!! :woohoo:
:vid: https://youtu.be/6BK3fK_NZV8 :vid:
After wingersizing vigorously for a couple of minutes, Little 3 decided it was time to experience what Mom’s branch was today. It was a windy day, which helped. He branched beautifully and stayed there for a few minutes before hopping back down to the nest without incident. :bravo:

What an exciting day for the Es! Little 3 branched and Little 4 watched the whole thing and has been exercising their wings very strongly today.
